A defining characteristic of their work is the different stone collections he produces. I have never seen another Native American jewelry artist use colors the way he does. This piece has the Pine Hill Collection, which has turquoise and variscite. These stones are inlaid in a cobblestone fashion, an arduous process even for these talented Navajo jewelry artists.
