One of the defining qualities of David Rosales’ Native American jewelry is the incredibly unique designs that he comes up with. David does a wonderful job creating pieces that are both unusual and stylish. This ring is a wonderful example of this. It comes from the Black Beauty Collection which features blue lab-created opal and black jade. This is the “fancy cut” inlay style, meaning that the artists put tinier cuts and detailing into the inlay. This level of work is more challenging and time-consuming and not seen in the typical Native American jewelry.
While the inlay-work is spectacular in this ring, the overall design is also really neat. There is a bar that extends underneath the band of stones that has a single black jade stone. Whether or not it was intended, this design reminds me of the Eye of Horus, a well-known Egyptian symbol. It is very interesting how David manages to fuse Native American jewelry with other styles. In order for your item to be eligible for return, it must be unopened and in the same condition as when you received it. It should also be in the original packaging.
